Born in London, Ysabel is an experienced English writer with a demonstrated history of working in the professional performing arts and digital media industry.
With a distinction in Digital Media: Production MA from University College London, she is skilled in Screenwriting, Camera Operation, Performing Arts (Theatre, Music, Dance), Film Editing, Production, Gamewriting, and 3D-Modelling.
Upcoming Projects
Ysabel is currently a screenplay consultant and film festivals and partnership coordinator for ScriptUp, a London-based Script Consultancy Agency. In her spare time, she writes game narratives and interactive multi-nodal plot threads for VR/gaming prototypes. When in Malaysia, she works as a content writer and planner for SandM Studio, a creative branding agency specialising in 3D and more.
Ysabel recently starred in MELUR THE MUSICAL at PJPAC in February 2023 by Liver & Lung Productions.
She is also a co-founder of Dabble Dabble Jer Collective, an emerging production company in Penang, Malaysia specialising in multi-disciplinary performance, art, music, and more. DDJC will launch their experimental theatre show, 'BURDEN OF PROOF' in November 2023.
