DeliLife (Video game)

A complex game prototype simulating real life scenarios, particularly around the ethics and problems with gig economy. The project concept addresses working conditions of delivery drivers through presenting their working ecology through a gaming experience. Created by Ysabel, Jia Yi, and Kevin.

"Ysabel's DeliLife game project was one of the most outstanding projects where her group managed to develop a complex game prototype simulating real life scenarios. The project concept addressed working conditions of delivery drivers through presenting their working ecology through a gaming experience... I do believe that Ysabel brings a strong rigorous approach to the topic, a well-informed critical understanding, a wider comprehension of research approaches including practice-based and participatory research, and a creative take on the subject field."

Orang (Video game)

A persuasive game prototype aimed to address the dual role of the participatory game player during the discussion of heritage and colonialism. In this case, Malaysia's Orang Asli and their rights were explored through consuming resources. The player thus has to choose either to 'win' the game or side with the narrative.
